It was unlike any Sunday! January 20, 2008 saw the early wake of 43 Cadburians to the spirit of the Mumbai Marathon. While the serious enthusiasts participated in the Dream Run (6Kms), the serious marathoners participated in the Half Marathon (21 kms). The heartening aspect was that all colleagues who participated in the Dream Run and Half Marathon completed the race. The joint winners of the Half Marathon (among Team Cadbury) were Sharad Gupta, Anil Vishwanathan and Amar Singh. It was an exciting day for most colleagues to run along with over 35,000 mumbaikars and raise money for charity. The money raised by Cadbury India was donated to Concern India Foundation to support the education of underprivileged children. Our aim next year is to put up a 100 member Cadbury India contingent!
