India Announces The Launch Of "Bubbaloo"

Mumbai,
July 04, 2007: Cadbury India today
announced the national launch of
"Bubbaloo" its bubblegum power brand
in India. Bubbaloo is sold in 25
countries, and is a dominant bubble
gum brand worldwide. With this launch
Cadbury forays into the bubble gums
category and strengthens its portfolio
within the confectionary segment.
Commenting on the launch Cadbury
India Managing Director Anand Kripalu
said, "India is one of the fastest
growing gum markets in the world
and we see massive potential for
Bubbaloo in this market. Bubbaloo
along with Halls and Éclairs complements
our confectionary portfolio and
will significantly contribute to
enhance our long-term leadership
influence in the category."
Bubbaloo is an innovative centre-filled
bubble gum with a burst of liquid
flavours. It will be available in
two exciting flavours Strawberry
and Mixed Fruit and is priced at
Rs. 1 per unit. Bubbaloo will offer
the Indian consumers the fun experience
of juice that fills the mouth when
one bites into it.
Bubbaloo will see a multi-media
marketing campaign to connect with
the target consumers. The 360 degree
marketing communication will be
anchored by 'Bubba the cat' the
worldwide mascot for Bubbaloo. Several
consumer and trade activities are
planned to create a buzz around
the launch. |
